CITRUS AND POMEGRANATE SALAD: A TANGY TWIST TO YOUR WINTERS

Citrus fruits are loaded with vitamin C while pomegranate is a rich source of potassium, vitamin K, and vitamin C.

And if these two are incorporated in a single dish it will give you a nutritious, antioxidant-rich, and citrusy snack.

To enjoy winter flavours in a healthy way we can go for a Citrus and pomegranate fruit salad with toasted coconut. It will have the goodness of pomegranate, the tanginess of citrus and crunch from coconut. You can make this mouth-watering salad in 10 minutes for a quick snack or as a dessert or as a side dish with a meal.

POMEGRANATE SALAD

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS SALAD?

For making this salad you need a few things that will be easily available in your nearby grocery store.

Grapefruit:

First, we will start by peeling.

Oranges

Removing seeds from them.

Clementine

Now slice and arrange them in a bowl.

Pomegranate

pomegranate seeds in the bowel.

Coconut Flakes

Sprinkle toasted coconut.

Honey

Drizzle honey on top.

Now your salad is ready to devour

HOW YOU CAN MAKE THE SALAD?

First, we will start by peeling and removing seeds from grapefruit, oranges, and clementines.
Now slice them and arrange them in a bowl
For toasting coconut, sprinkle them on a baking sheet and bake until golden for 5-10 minutes. Don’t forget to stir in between
Sprinkle toasted coconut and pomegranate seeds in the bowel and drizzle honey on top
Now your salad is ready to devour.

because it is low in calories and high in fibber so we can say that it is a good choice for weight management. Also, it is full with vitamin C which will improve your immune system. Along with that, it is also a great source of minerals, potassium, and vitamin K.

TIPS AND TRICKS FOR YOUR FRUIT SALAD:

  • Tip 01: Don’t forget to remove the seeds of citrus fruits properly.
  • Tip 02: You can refrigerate this salad in an air-tight container for 3 days.
  • Tip 03: You can add some extra flavour by adding other fruits such as kiwi strawberries, pineapple, or any kind of syrup of your choice.
