I am pretty sure that most of your answers will be NO. Because usually, we are so tired and busy that don’t want to compromise our sleep for breakfast. But actually, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, as it provides us the energy to kick start our day. Now it is clear that we cannot skip breakfast at any cost. So the next question arises what should we eat for breakfast? Well, there are many options too but our choice of breakfast should be healthy. We can go for eggs, whole wheat bread, fruits, and vegetables, in more clear words we can say that protein is a great option for breakfast. Because it helps in muscle building and keeps you full throughout the day, this means it helps to avoid overeating at the time of lunch. but, is it a easy healthy breakfast ideas?

We all know that Eggs are a great source of protein. So I think it would be great to make a delicious recipe for breakfast with eggs, and to make it more healthy we are going to add spinach also in this recipe.

SPINACH QUICHE Recipe | A Easy Healthy Breakfast Ideas

Preparation Time

To make this yummy spinach quiche recipe for breakfast we need only I hour of preparation time.

No Of Servings

If the exact quantities of the mentioned ingredients are followed then we would have easy healthy breakfast ideas for 8 servings out of spinach quiche recipe.

What Do We Need?

  • 1 pie crust prepared for a 9-inch deep dish baking plate and should be prebaked. You can use the frozen one available in stores.
  • 3 eggs of large size
  • Half a teaspoon of red pepper
  • Half a cup of milk
  • 1 cup of cream
  • Thinly sliced half medium-sized onion
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • Salt, as per taste
  • 1 clove of garlic, that should be minced
  • 4 ounces of coarsely chopped spinach
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese. You can use mix of both too

What To Do?

We will start by preheating the oven to 375 degrees. In the meantime, take a bowl and whisk the eggs in it. Then add cream milk salt and red pepper powder and mix it well. Now place it aside. To make a delicious blend of spinach, add olive oil to a pan and heat it. Then add onions and cook them until they are tender, Don’t fry them till brown. Add garlic and cook for a while, about 30 seconds.

Now add spinach to the pan and cook until they are wilted. Spread this mixture of spinach onto the baked pie crust and sprinkle;e cheese on top. Now fill the dish by slowly pouring the egg mixture. To prevent the over-browning of the crust edges I have a tip, that is, covering them with aluminum foil during baking. Lastly bake this for 40 minutes, until the filling is set. After 40 minutes, remove it from the oven and leave it on a wire rack for cooling at room temperature. Finally, slice it into 8 pieces and enjoy every bit.
